Initial impressions: 8/10

 Unboxing the Triple Diamond the first thing you notice is the Elephant skin grey head cover, quality made head cover maybe not my first choice of colors but it’s not bad. Pulling it off to reveal the driver your struck with how good that flat carbon sole looks in person. The large( for me) 450cc head looks fantastic, an inspiring huge/deep face with a compact shape that looks like it wants to slip through the air. For crowns I’m a matte fan but the gloss crown on this one with the matte banner stripe reminds me of the Cobra Aerojet LS crown which I loved. I’m a bit at odds over the weighting system, I wish they had made the back weights swappable with the front but at the same time I don’t hate it. Overall the driver looks incredible and it’s really tough to find any real negatives with its aesthetics

    Performance:9/10

 This thing is scary fast. First impressions of performance is that this model is that it’s built for the bomber. I felt like this club was illegal. I have never hit a driver that was this forgiving for a low spin model. I hit this thing all over the face with aggression and rarely saw anything above 2800rpm. I’m glad I did not go TD Max because this thing just feels right, is a spin killing monster and I could see needing anymore forgiveness. Sound is phenomenal, muted but punchy. Feel incredible, the new face technology does feel different between prior Callaway models, the best way I can describe it is springy with a lot of vibration dampening. Wonderful on Miss Hits. I was quite surprise to see it beat up a bit on my Krank like it did, the Krank has been really good. Really good doesn’t beat Awesome though.

On the same Denali Black Frost shaft I was seeing these averages on a 45” pl shaft with both being set to 6 degrees

Krank: 121 Club Speed, 175 Ball Speed, 309 carry 2602 RPM spin

TD: 123 Club speed,176 Ball speed, 311 carry, 2640 rpm spin

The Frost Black is a wonderful shaft for a stock shaft,  it did launch a touch high and spun quite a bit more which killed the distance so I swapped over to my gamer shaft which is stiffer and lower torque and a touch lighter and we dropped 400 rpm and added a lot of yards. The most speed I squeezed out of this head today was with the Triple Diamond and my Prototype Bryson Dechambeau shaft. It’s a 3x-stiff, 59gram, 2.0 torque monster designed for Bryson when he competed in Long Drive. I was regularly touching 135 club head speed and 185-189 ball speed albeit a touch inefficient due to spin and launch. 

    Verdict : 9/10

    Callaway came into 2026 hot. The Quantum line continues on an already stellar prior generation. With the price of drivers ever climbing its important to find a driver that will not only perform but will last, and the Callaway Quantum line up is a solid choice in the heavily saturated driver market. Pushing ball speed and forgiveness into a new territory I whole heartedly believe that you can find a driver in the Quantum line that fits your swing and style of play! I also suggest the Quantum TD Max!
